Heritage Art Disciplines

Centuries-Old Traditions of Rajput Fine-Art

Rajasthani fresco painting (historically known as Arayish or Shekhawati fresco) is celebrated worldwide for its vibrant durability and cultural narrative. Unlike standard surface paint, true fresco chemically bonds with the slaked lime plaster as it cures, ensuring the artwork becomes an integral part of the wall structure.

Buon Fresco (True Fresco)

Mineral pigments painted directly onto fresh wet lime plaster. The color crystallizes into calcium carbonate, rendering the artwork impervious to flaking or sun damage.

Devotional Pichwai Murals

Exquisite heritage compositions depicting sacred lotus ponds, Shrinathji iconography, and celestial cow motifs adorned with delicate 24K real gold accents.

Jaipur Arayish Stucco

The legendary mirror-smooth lime plaster technique burnished with smooth river agate stones to yield a velvety, marble-like tactile surface that breathes naturally.

Heritage Restoration & Haveli Conservation

Museum-grade conservation and authentic restoration for royal palaces, heritage havelis, luxury resorts, and ancestral family estates across Rajasthan.

Artisanal Methodology

The Master Fresco Artist's 4-Phase Craft

PHASE I

Lime Plaster Maturation

Natural slaked lime is aged in vats with organic additives (curd, jaggery, and marble dust) to create a pure breathable substrate.

PHASE II

Taraka Sketch Transfer

Full-scale preparatory cartoons are perforated and dusted with charcoal powder onto the wet wall to guide master contours.

PHASE III

Mineral Pigment Infusion

Hand-ground cinnabar, malachite, yellow ochre, and lapis lazuli are brushed into the wet lime before crystallization occurs.

PHASE IV

Agate Stone Friction Polishing

Polishing the surface with warm agate pebbles to compress the pores, achieving the luminous signature Arayish sheen.
